I use it to hold some dried branches, but it honestly looks good sitting there with nothing in it. It's plain in a way that still has some character. Good pick for the price.
This works really well as a decorative piece. The size is right in the middle, so it doesn't overwhelm a shelf or disappear on one.
I'd heard that having a moon jar in the house is supposed to bring good luck, so I gave it a shot. It's not too big and not too small, which is hard to get right. Even with nothing in it, it does the decorating on its own.
The quality is better than I expected and the size is right. There's some texture in the surface, so it doesn't read cheap, and it looks good with faux flowers in it. Mine sits on a walnut shelf and the two go together nicely.
The ceramic is prettier in person than I expected. I ordered some branches separately and put them in, and the two together look great. Absolutely love them.
