Sent this to a friend for her new place and she had flowers in it the same day. It isn't a big vase, but she fit a lot more in it than I expected. Arrived well packed with nothing chipped.
Everyone else seems to love this, but I found the arranging genuinely difficult, and the florist I asked said the same thing. The bigger issue is the water. You have to change it constantly and that got old fast. Used it once and it's been in the cabinet since.
More than I usually spend on a vase, but I don't regret it. The ikebana setup gives arrangements a different feel than a regular vase. Planning to pick up more stems and fill it out.
The design is clean and it has enough weight that it doesn't shift while you're placing stems. Makes even a couple of flowers look considered. Works in every room I've tried it in.
I have no real flower arranging skill, but the holder inside does the work for you. Stems stay where you put them instead of sliding around. I'm buying flowers more often now just to use it.
