Clean and simple. I looked through a lot of stainless rests and these were the best looking. They work with everyday plates and with nicer place settings, and they're slim so they stack well in a drawer without taking over much space.
They're a bit narrow, so a spoon can sit slightly off balance. I still like how clean and minimal they are. Wash them well with soap before the first use.
I use stainless flatware and wanted the rests to match. Ceramic seemed too easy to chip and I didn't think silicone would hold up, so I went with these. Good call so far.
I picked these up because they're supposed to go with Sabre flatware, and the slim shape does look good. They run a little small for full size dinner utensils though. The vintage silver finish hides scratches well. Give them a good scrub before the first use, a fair amount of polishing residue came off mine.
