It came out a bit thicker than I was picturing, which turned out to be a plus. The pale yellow is soft without looking washed out, which is a hard balance for a light color. I tossed my old robe when we moved and wanted a proper replacement. This was the right call.
The color is soft and understated and the fabric is genuinely smooth against the skin. It's the right weight for the weather right now. I wash it on the wool cycle and hang it to dry, and it comes out with almost no creasing, so there's nothing to iron.
This hits the weight I wanted. Not so thin that I'm cold in it during winter, but not so heavy that it gets in the way while I'm getting ready. Thick robes always end up annoying me halfway through. The color is neutral and easy, and it's close to one I already liked.
Pretty, and light enough that summer is finally covered. I already had a plush microfiber robe that turned into a sauna the moment the weather warmed up. Between the two of them I'm set year round and don't need another.
So good to put on after a shower. It looks sharper than a standard bathrobe and the color has a nice expensive-looking depth to it. These days it's the first thing I reach for the second I'm out. I'd tell anyone to get one.
