I got this for a blank wall and it does the job without the commitment of framed art. You could put the whole year up at once, or swap one month at a time since each has its own color, which is a nice way to change the mood as the seasons go.
When we moved in there was already a hook on the wall that seemed made for a calendar. I debated a clock but the calendar was the better call. Our place is mostly white and I wanted a bit of color without anything neon, and this landed exactly where I wanted it.
Our fridge doesn't take magnets, so I'd been stuck on how to decorate it. This calendar poster solved it and it's cute on top of that. It would look just as good in a living room if you don't want it in the kitchen.
The stickers it comes with peel off cleanly with no marks left behind, so I can move it around freely. Each month is a different color, which changes the feel of the wall a little as I swap them. I don't have a dry-erase marker yet so I haven't filled in dates, but being able to write and wipe makes it more useful than a plain poster. And since it's reusable next year, I'm keeping the packaging it came in.
My fridge is white and I wanted something with color on it. The palette is spot on. Just so you know going in: the dates aren't printed, so you fill them in yourself. The grid is already divided and there are six rows, which has been plenty for us.
