I've only ever used rectangular rugs before, so this was my first oval one, and it's really pretty. I didn't want a plain beige rug and was looking for something subtle but not boring. The thin edge detail adds just enough interest without being loud. Super happy with it overall.
I originally bought a huge rectangular rug and honestly it looked like a sack laid on the floor. I returned it and reordered this oval one with the black edge, and it looks so much better. It actually feels styled now. Big bonus that it's easy to clean too.
It's slightly oversized for my room, but I still really like it. The pile isn't too long, which was important for me, and the edge line keeps it looking clean instead of flat. It works well with the overall tone of my place.
My family has allergies, so we don't keep rugs out all the time. We use this when kids need a play mat or when folding laundry on the floor. The smallest size is perfect for that. Very easy to fold and unfold. The line detail stands out nicely and the ivory color looks clean and soft.
I haven't been able to fully lay it out yet because my furniture hasn't arrived, but even partially placed, the edge color already adds presence. It's neutral, but still feels like a design choice. I think it'll look even better once everything's in place.
