Because it's waterproof, the texture isn't silky soft, but it has a light crinkle feel. Which doesn't bother me but just to be noted. The yellow check pattern is really cute. I'm putting it over a thinner topper instead of a full mattress, so there's a bit of extra material at the sides.
Wanted black but ended up going with gray since they were out, and it came out a bit lighter than I expected. Still, the waterproofing works well and the price is reasonable. Overall happy with it.
The waterproofing works really well. The tradeoff is that it wrinkles pretty easily and you can't really iron it. It still looks fine on the bed, and the protection is worth it.
Got the black one first, loved it, then ordered beige. The beige feels a bit different though. The top surface is fine, but the side fabric is thinner and tends to bunch or slip depending on mattress depth. The elastic could be tighter. Also the check pattern on the beige looks a little washed out compared to the black, so I'd suggest going with a more saturated color if you're on the fence.
Washed it a few times and it's held up well. No fading or warping. The color is cute and the fit is solid.
