Water drains right through and the soap does not stick to it. My old dish always left gunk behind and scraped the bottom of the bar every time I picked it up. With this one water does not pool underneath, so it feels a lot cleaner between uses.
This is one of the buys I have been happiest with. The design and color are both really pretty, and the drainage keeps the soap from going soft and mushy. It seems like each bar lasts longer now.
Nonslip strips came with it, but I have not needed them. The dish stays where I put it and does not slide around when I use it.
The ceramic looks polished and pretty, and water drains through it well. My only issue is that it does not hold my soap bar as securely as I hoped, though my bar might just be too big for it. Either way the design is still really nice.
This soap dish is surprisingly heavy and solid. I figured it would be a basic holder, but it feels really sturdy and cradles the bar nicely. The shape works well and I love the design.
