Handcrafted by a master artisan in Yeoju, a region long known for its ceramics, this white porcelain moon jar is made from premium natural white porcelain clay and fired multiple times with no glaze finish, giving it a soft matte surface and a naturally rounded silhouette. Because there is no glaze sealing the surface, the jar breathes, and the unglazed matte body is considered the harder finish to achieve. As a fully handmade piece, subtle variations in shape and dimensions are expected.

  • Because the surface is unglazed and matte, avoid prolonged contact with strongly colored liquids or staining substances.

Note: Each piece is handmade, so details and proportions vary slightly between jars and between sizes. Small dark specks are natural iron in the clay, and small raised bumps or visible throwing lines come from the making process. None of these are defects. Every jar is inspected after firing, and anything that does not meet standard is discarded rather than sold.
