Soft and well cushioned. A lot of house slippers make that hard clacking noise on a wood floor and these are quiet, which I didn't even know to look for. I bought them on looks alone and got comfort as a bonus.
Walking around barefoot on our wood floors was leaving the bottoms of my feet genuinely sore by the end of the day. I went looking for something cushioned and these fixed it. The style happens to be exactly what I like too, so they're cute on top of being comfortable.
I deliberately went a size up and I'm glad I did, because the opening sits fairly low over the top of the foot. There's real cushion underfoot too. I can't stand slippers with a hard flat footbed and these are the opposite of that.
The Starlight Blue has more depth to it in person than on screen, which is not usually how these things go. Having both M and L means my partner and I could get a matching pair without one of us swimming in them. They hug the foot, the design is clean, and I keep noticing them by the door.
I wanted something I wouldn't get bored of looking at rather than the usual house slipper. A month in and I still like them every time I put them on. The cushioning is soft and comfortable too. I'll be back for another pair when these give out.
