Our stairway was really dark and this took care of it. It's not just brighter, it actually feels welcoming now instead of like a hallway you rush through.
The design is clean and the brightness is right where I wanted it, not blinding but not useless either. It's been perfect for a spot where wiring in a fixture wasn't an option. The sensor picks me up reliably and the remote makes it that much easier. I'd buy it again.
My room goes pitch black with the lights off, which is why I bought this. It puts out plenty of light and being rechargeable means I'm not tied to an outlet. I stuck it to the ceiling and it hasn't come down, which honestly surprised me.
It's light enough that the included double-sided tape or a bit of clear gel holds it fine, no drilling needed. Being able to change both the color temperature and the brightness is what sold me. Good value for what you get.
No drilling, three brightness levels, and a remote. All the things I wanted. The shape is cute on top of that. I'm thinking about getting a second one for a partition wall.
