A handmade ceramic plate with a soft square shape that works two ways: turn it one way for a raised footed plate, turn it over for a shallow square bowl. Made by hand, it has a rougher, weightier feel, with scattered iron specks in the calm white glaze that give each piece its own character. Use it for sushi, snacks, desserts, side dishes, or small brunch plates. Its clean white finish makes it easy to style with wood, glass, and stainless steel tableware. Microwave and dishwasher safe, though not oven safe.

I ordered it for the two-sided design and the quiet, slightly unusual look, and I'm glad I did. Being able to flip it depending on what I'm serving gets a lot more use out of one plate. It also arrived wrapped carefully with nothing chipped or cracked.
I genuinely use both sides of this. The flat side is right for sushi or a dry stir-fry, and flipped over it works for a bento-style spread where the kids get a little of everything. The raised side is the prettier of the two, and the surface has a smooth, finished feel that makes plating look better than it should.
If you plate sashimi at home, this is the one. The fact that it's reversible was a bonus I didn't expect. It has real heft to it, so it feels substantial rather than thin, and the look is about as clean as it gets.
I ordered this because we eat a lot of sashimi and sushi at home. Being able to flip it and use either side is more useful than I expected, and food ends up looking neat on it without much fussing. It manages to be practical and good looking at the same time.
I picked this up as a sashimi plate and it's roomier than I thought it would be. I was worried the color might lean yellow, but it's a soft, creamy white instead. Food looks clean against it, which is really all I wanted from a plate like this.
