I needed something breathable for fruit instead of a sealed bowl, and this is exactly right. The stainless keeps it looking clean and simple. It looked best filled with tangerines and oranges, though we went through those pretty fast.
The design got me first. Because it's stainless, whatever ends up in it looks a little more polished than it should. Clean and modern on the counter. This one is staying out permanently.
Looks just like the photos. The size is generous without being bulky, and a bunch of bananas fits with room to spare. I wiped it down before first use and there was no residue at all, so you can use it straight away.
