I bought this to hold mugs in the kitchen and it's also been good for salt, pepper, and small spice jars. Clean look, doesn't visually crowd the counter. Water spots do show on the stainless, so it needs a wipe now and then, but that's the only downside.
I got this to go with the other stainless pieces on my counter and it blends right in. The shine is moderate rather than mirror-bright, and the edges and welds look clean. Makes the counter look more finished.
Nice shape and it feels sturdy under weight. I've got spice jars on it at the moment, but honestly anything looks decent up there. It ends up reading as decor even when it's holding everyday kitchen stuff.
Empty, half full, or crammed with my favorite bits, it looks good either way. That's rare for a shelf. The plain stainless frame doesn't compete with whatever you put on it, so I can change things around whenever.
Splitting the height into two levels is the whole point. My everyday mugs go on one shelf and the espresso glasses on the other, and nothing gets stacked precariously. It's not oversized either, so I can set it down anywhere on the counter without rearranging things.
