The cotton feels really nice against my skin, not scratchy at all. I like that I can just slip it on and off without fighting a zipper. It fits my memory foam pillow well too. I'd suggest grabbing two so you can rotate them and always have a clean one ready.
I used to put off washing pillowcases because taking them off was such a hassle. This one is so simple to remove that I wash it way more often now. It makes the bed feel fresher overall. I'm probably going to order another set as backup.
The elastic band makes it really easy to put on. It stays put through the night and doesn't slide around. Because it's lightly quilted, it does have that slightly padded look, but I don't mind it. The stripe pattern is subtle and works with most bedding.
The thin quilted layer gives it a little extra cushion, which I like. It feels more substantial than a basic flat cover. I've dried it in the dryer and it hasn't shrunk or warped. The elastic still feels tight.
I deal with occasional skin breakouts, so I try to change my pillow cover often. This makes that so much easier. The elastic is snug and keeps everything secure. I like having a couple on hand so I can swap them out during the week.
