I'd seen these tufted mats in person before, so I already knew they'd feel good under the feet. I chose this one for the navy and gray combo, but the gray came off a little muddier than I expected, almost like a worn gray. Even so, it's soft and cushioned underfoot, working perfectly as a bathroom mat.
I placed this at the entrance to my laundry room. It's the thickest and firmest mat I've used so far, which is exactly what I wanted for that spot.
A large rug felt like too much for my space, but the floor was too hard to use our coffee table comfortably. I wanted a long runner but couldn't find a design I liked, so I placed two of these side by side instead. The tufted texture and slightly different lengths create a fun, layered look that gives the room more personality.
